Hello! It's been a hot minute. Life has been one crazy Shenanigan after another but I am in the process of settling down soon. No ETA about when I'll be resuming CT yet, but I thought I should check in to say that I'll be at TCAF on May 11-12 2024. I decided to return to conventions and events this year (I was also at ECCC and Kawaiikon, sorry I forgot to give a heads up here LOL). Thanks to the readers who recognized my stuff and stopped by my table! It was a pleasant surprise especially after having been away for so long. ;-;

In the meantime, I'm still chipping away at my other project called A Witch's Cross, which I have been posting about on social media/patreon for the past few years. Thank you kindly for your patience and support for my projects.

Hello! sorry for the radio silence here. I am checking in to explain why there have been so many extended hiatuses. I don't think I really talked about it here.

Over the past 5 years I developed a chronic illness that comes and goes in cycles. I have lost many months not just of work hours, but of life in general because it's both mentally and physically debilitating and painful. Sometimes it's all I can do to feed myself and crawl back into bed.

From examining the way my illness behaves, I believe it is directly linked to my mental/emotional health. I've been in therapy for those past 5 years and uncovering a lot, and learning about myself, and the way I was made. It's been a very painful journey of metaphysically taking myself apart, scraping out the rot, and adding in newer, healthier pieces, so that I can feel whole when I can manage to put myself back together again. To be honest, I am just hoping that my emotional healing will result in getting my physical health back.

But right now I'm still in pieces, and it's a very tall order to produce something personal like Cut Time, while my person is still in shambles. I also want to clarify that it's not the comic itself that is weighing me down. I always look forward to a time when I can actually work on my comic, enough to be posting regular updates. The previous string of updates was kind of a miracle to me haha.

Anyway, there is not yet an ETA for when chapter 5 will commence. I just wanted to establish that CT isn't dead, and that I appreciate all the understanding and support even though I didn't properly explain myself for a long time. These apples are getting a lot more mileage than I expected

for those of you who only know my work for Cut Time, I will unveil to you my main line of export... suits and ties

Nallan switches outfits so frequently that I don't even bother with concept sketches most of the time

but this one required work <_>

I didn't even bother scanning in the old design for Sol LMAO... His clothes initially were a lot more... white on white... then I remembered colour was a thing, and I've also just been wanting to draw hanbok style clothing in recent years. The cloak was a suggestion from my bf and it really completes the look here IMO.

I don't go through a whole lot of passes for outfit designs because I generally keep them very simple. I had to redo this one because the first concepts were from a time when I was very uninspired. I realized I had to scrap the initial designs because I didn't want to draw my comic with the designs!! that's never a good sign when it comes to your own work LOL

Chapter end!! I'm going to breathe a little now... o(-< There will be some bonus things before I start chapter 5!! WOW CHAPTER 5!!! I never thought I'd see those words u__u
